Stepping Stones

A childcare center that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This is ideal for parents who work non-standard hours, such as those transitioning back into the workforce. This facility is part of the Switchpoint family.

Salt Lake Acting Company is now accessible to ALL patrons! Utilizing the design services of ASSIST, SLAC made major renovations to their current facility. The addition of ramps leading to the exterior doors, removing steps between levels in the interior, and adding a ramp between the two buildings will make it barrier-free for everyone.

Trinity AME Church

The Trinity African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church is the oldest continuously operating black church in Utah. Trinity AME was organized in 1890 by Rev. T. Saunders when Salt Lake City was the capital of Utah Territory.  The early date of founding reflects the presence of black non-Mormon Christians in Utah during its early settlement. In 2021, it became necessary to remodel the basement to accommodate the congregation and allow for larger gatherings to assemble at the church.
